Tina Chafin, Client Services Manager

Tina is our resident jack-of-all-trades at Veterinary Heart Care. She’s the first person you meet when you step through our doors. When Tina is not behind the front desk, she can be found assisting Julie and Dr. Maisenbacher.  She has worked in the veterinary field since 2002, earning a B.S. in Biology from ODU in 2001. Since graduating, she’s worked in general practice as a receptionist and veterinary assistant, and also as hospital manager for the Norfolk SPCA.

Outside of work, Tina enjoys quality time with her husband, Mark and dog, Gunner. This February, Tina welcomed a new addition to her family.

Julie Hogan, Patient Services Coordinator

Julie joined the practice in February 2014 as an assistant and is currently working on her veterinary technology degree.  She has worked in the veterinary field since 2002, holding positions from receptionist and assistant to veterinary services manager for the Norfolk SPCA.

Out of the office, Julie enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband Ryan, two sons Reilly (6) and Brady (1), and her two fur kids Malley and Bandito.
