Why call us?

Veterinary Heart Care (VHC) is two practices rolled into one. The first is a local specialty practice focused on providing compassionate, expert care to pets with heart conditions. This includes comprehensive diagnosis and management of all types of cardiovascular problems including congenital and acquired heart diseases, arrhythmias, congestive heart failure, and more.

We generate a complete, informative report for you and your client. Your client will receive this report before they walk out the door. The same report will be faxed to you that same day. The report will include the results from the physical exam, diagnostic testing such as echocardiogram, ECG radiographs, and any blood work. We are easily reachable by phone to discuss any cases or questions. Please send any recent diagnostic results such as radiographs or blood work, as we do not wish to repeat tests unnecessarily.

The second part of VHC’s practice is a mobile cardiology specialty service that serves small animals, but we are also willing to see large and exotic animals in the appropriate settings. In this capacity, VHC acts as an extension to your practice, helping you diagnose and manage your patients with heart disease. To make cardiology care more easily accessible to you and your clients, I will travel to your clinic with a cardiac specific mobile ultrasound machine, the GE Vivid q, and an ECG machine to provide comprehensive consultations of your patients, including interpretation of your diagnostics, such as radiographs and blood work; giving your clients access to veterinary specialty care in a familiar location: your clinic.
